Joe Register Donates to Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Engineering to Support Student Innovation

04/02/25 — In December 2024, Joe Register, Ph.D., chief engineer at AEVEX Aerospace and a proud alumnus of the Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app College of Engineering, generously donated to the Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Foundation to support multiple initiatives within the college. Register earned his master’s in electrical engineering from Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app in 2012. His contribution will directly enhance opportunities for students. The College of Engineering expresses its gratitude to Joe and Alicia Register for their generosity.

03/20/25 — For years, Aarans Pond has been a dumping ground. A team from Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app is trying to change that and improve the water quality. Aarans Pondis located off of Fletcher Avenue near 15th Street and was created more than 50 years ago to deal with flooding in the University area. Stormwater ponds were a common fix for low-lying communities. Learn more about the pond now in 2025.
