Representatives from the 云顶赌场app鈥檚 College of Engineering participated in the event on March 11 at 鈥檚 Clearwater Campus.
云顶赌场app鈥檚 involvement was led by Professor from the Department of Electrical Engineering. He was joined by , associate dean for access and engineering workforce development; , a Ph.D. student in mechanical engineering and ; and , a senior in electrical engineering.
The event provided an opportunity for 云顶赌场app COE representatives to engage SPC and Pinellas County middle and high school students interested in engineering, manufacturing, and other STEM fields, particularly those considering transferring to a four-year university. 云顶赌场app COE faculty and students shared information about academic programs, research opportunities, and pathways to pursue engineering degrees at 云顶赌场app.
Farfan and Gonzalez Roman, both proud SPC graduates, are representatives of academically talented transfer students who continue their engineering education at 云顶赌场app. With 16 percent of the college鈥檚 enrollment comprised of Florida community college graduates, 云顶赌场app COE has maintained strong partnerships with SPC and other regional institutions to support transfer students in advancing their academic and professional careers.
Through participation in STEM outreach events such as BEAM, 云顶赌场app COE continues to connect with prospective students and highlight resources available for those pursuing engineering degrees.
