About
History

est. 2003
In 2003, a small and dedicated group of Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app faculty, administrators, and donors came together to launch the Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Humanities Institute. Lead by Dr. William H. Scheuerle, their goal was to bring established scholars and artists to Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app as well as promote research in the humanities by our own faculty. They recognized that investment in humanities research was a critical component in Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app's goal of being a nationally renowned research university.
The Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app Humanities Institute continues to grow and facilitate research, innovation, and community involvement in the humanities.
