BIOGRAPHY:
Beck Young-Greven is a Cruise Planners franchise owner and
Independent Scholar. Beck enlisted in the United States Navy in
1992 and became the second female to serve as an Anti-Submarine
Warfare Operator (AW) in 1994. She attended Naval Officer
Candidate School in Pensacola, Florida, and was commissioned an
Ensign in 2003.

Young-Greven served as an Intelligence Officer in the Navy and spent most of
her thirty-year career focused on the Middle East and Indo-Pacific. Her tours include
deployment onboard the USS John F. Kennedy, deployment to Iraq supporting Task Force 134, and numerous detachments globally. She served as the Deputy Director for Intelligence at U.S. Fleet Cyber and as the Deputy Chief of Operations for the Associate Director for Military Affairs at the Central Intelligence Agency—retiring in 2024. Her awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
Beck holds a Ph.D. in Government and International Affairs from the University of South Florida and is a Distinguished Graduate of the U.S. Army War College. She is also a past member of the International Studies Association (ISA) - South’s Executive Committee.
