BIOGRAPHY:
Geoffrey F. Gresh is a Professor of International Relations at the College of International
Security Affairs (CISA), National Defense University in Washington, D.C. His primary
research focus is on maritime and naval affairs. Gresh has held various leadership
roles, including Department Chair of International Security Studies and Director of
the South and Central Asia Security Studies Program. He has been a Visiting Fellow
at Sciences Po in Paris and the recipient of a Dwight D. Eisenhower/Clifford Roberts
Fellowship, among other prestigious awards.
Gresh has served as a Visiting Researcher at the National Graduate Research Institute for Policy Studies in Tokyo and has been a U.S.-Japan Foundation Leadership Fellow. He is also an Associate Member of the Corbett Centre for Maritime Policy Studies at King鈥檚 College in London and a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
