Amy Nourie

Amy is a Ph.D. graduate from the School of Social Work at the University of South Florida. Currently, Amy acts as an adjunct instructor for several social work courses at Ôƶ¥¶Ä³¡app. Her research is informed by her career in child welfare in Florida, as well as her interest in women’s and gender studies, social welfare history, and social policy. Amy is especially passionate about macro social work and continues conducting child welfare research and completing advocacy work, most notably for former foster youth and sexual minority foster youth. Her dissertation research included the exploration of the lived experiences of former foster youth through feminist narrative inquiry.
